Littlehampton Dutch Bike Shop

The UK’s largest supplier of Batavus Dutch bikes has moved premises from Pier Road, Littlehampton to number 10 Anchor Spring’s Littlehampton.

This long-established and very popular business enjoyed many years trading from it’s home in Pier Road, which overlooks Littlehampton harbour. However,  following the construction of Litttlehampton’s new flood defences by the Environment Agency in 2016, the Dutch Bike Shop landlords sold their properties for redevelopment. While the new landlords are offering the premises for rent, this is only on a short term basis while plans are approved for a residential redevelopment.

Paul Power, Director of the Littlehampton Dutch Bike Shop says: “We’re delighted that the Dutch bike shop is staying in the very beautiful coastal town of Littlehampton where we first opened our doors in 2004.

Our new shop in Anchor Springs is an ideal location for a bicycle shop being directly opposite Littlehampton’s bus station and with ample free car parking available nearby in two public car parks. The new shop is far more comfortable and practical than our old one  and we don’t miss the leaking tin roof and cold premises.”

The Dutch Bike Shop can be found at:

10, Anchor Springs, Littlehampton, BN17 6BP and is open 5 days a week. Check the Dutch Bike Shop’s website for opening hours, which do have seasonal variations.

As well as stocking a range of high quality Dutch Bikes, the shop also stocks a range of quality electric bikes from Holland’s leading cycle manufacturers including bikes from other quality European manufacturers.
